The mechanical speedometer for bicycle is made in retro style, compared with electronic counters, it does not require any power supply, there is no risk that the battery will run out and the counter will stop working. It will serve you successfully for many seasons.
The handlebar mounting bracket has a rubber pad to prevent damage to the handlebars. There is no risk of scratching the handlebars when riding on uneven surfaces. The handlebar mount is bolt-on, so it fits any bike model.
The tachometer is driven by a cable commonly known as a worm, which is attached to the front hub just behind the fork - the shock. The end of the worm is hooked behind the spoke, when the wheel turns, the worm gear starts to rotate the bow and sets the mechanism in motion. A counter shows the speed up to 60 km/h along with the revolutions and the total number of kilometres travelled.
Waterproof. During the trip we can encounter different weather conditions, but for a real cyclist this is not a problem, so it is very important that the counter is waterproof and the influence of weather conditions does not affect its functionality.
